Most of us breathe more than 20,000 times daily without thinking. Because of the frequency of our breath, how we breathe when stressed, exercising, or talking can impact how we feel about our health over the long term. We’ll expand your breath awareness to accomplish the movement and communication goals you have.

This can be offered in private sessions or by joining our weekly classes.

  • Workshops

    We will review techniques you can use to draw attention to your breath when relaxing, meditating, moving, and communicating — particularly at work. Workshops can be scheduled at your location but are also offered regularly at Balanced Physical Therapy & Pilates in the Arboretum area of Charlotte.   • Private Sessions

    Private sessions will be conducted where you are most comfortable. Our first meeting will be an introductory session during which we discuss your goals and make a plan for future meetings. You may be interested in private sessions if you have concerns about the breathing patterns you have observed or if you want to explore meditation or breathwork.

For breathing classes we offer private pay (cash, credit card) services.

For some individuals, we may be able to use Medicare.

We provide superbills you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement (such as with an HSA or FSA). Reach out to learn more.
